--World Championships--

A lot of mixed feelings about my first World Championships. For starters, I found myself in the top 40 after round 1, and at -7 overall after the 12th hole of the second round. Unfortunately, I was only able to collect 2 birdies over the next 42 holes and finish in a tie for 127th at +6. A lot of good, but then a lot of bad to finish.

Ultimately, the elevation coupled with the wind we had during the 3rd round got the best of me as I went OB 6 times. I was never able to get into a groove during the 4th round and ended up missing the cut . Oh well, there's always next year!

I then completely forgot about my poor play as Mary Elizabeth McDaniel and I witnessed one of the two greatest and most dranmatic finishes to any sporting event that either one of us have witnessed. First, we were both at the Clemson Notre Dame monsoon football game in 2015 when Clemson stopped Notre Dame's 2 point conversion to seal the game. And Second, the 247 foot throw in for birdie to push a playoff by James Conrad was the most amazing and electrifying sports moment I have ever witnessed. I'm now in Lockport, IL for the Clash of The Canyons V, a Disc Golf Pro Tour Silver Series event! My discs are flying normal again!!
